Anna and Jardiya’s love for one another is incredibly apparent after just spending a few minutes around them. They met on Hinge and didn’t play around - both Anna and Jardiya knew what they were looking for and after their first date, they found it. We started out our day at Yum! When I was planning to do a photoshoot like this, I reached out on my instagram to see if anyone would want to do a couples photoshoot for my portfolio, Anna immediately responded asking me if I would be interested in photographing her and Jardiya’s dating anniversary. I responded saying “of course, YES!” and that I'm just looking to do a vibe-y engagement style shoot, it doesn’t have to be a “real” engagement shoot. To which she replied, “I have wonderful news for you then, because I bought a ring.”
One story that Anna and Jardiya told me about their relationship is that when they first started dating they were in a distance relationship. Anna was in Minnetonka, and Jardiya was in Rochester. Jardiya had a Tesla, so naturally many of their trips to each other would end at the Target Tesla charging station… Obviously this was an opportunity for taking some amazing personal photographs that ended up looking straight out of a hollywood movie…
At the end of the day we went back to Yum! to drop me back off at my car and to use the restroom. When I headed back out to the car to say our goodbyes, Anna pulled me aside and showed me a gold rose (gold-Jardiya’s favorite everything, and Rose-Jardiya’s middle name) and told me that she was going to propose later tonight!
Before the photoshoot, Anna and Jardiya went to the jewelers to get their rings together, but decided that they would officially propose to each other at different times. I am so beyond words over the timing of this photoshoot with you two, and I am honored that I got to document this special day! Happy anniversary, and congrats on your engagement and your years of happiness to come.
