When planning a styled shoot, there are often many moving parts outside of just the photography aspect - that’s why it helps to network with those in the wedding industry who can work alongside you to meet your client needs.

I sit down with Olivia Shaner Photography, Mariah McKechnie from Northland Special Events, and Alyssa Boytree from Superior Blooms to reflect on what it took to bring our creative vision to life.

“At the end of the day, I think that what's more important is getting up off your living room couch, getting out there in the world, meeting people, having those connections, jumping into people's DMs and making something happen.
Nothing's happening on your living room couch. Out there in the world there are people doing cool things and using each other's collective creativity. That is really what separates someone that's early in the industry to someone that's going to have longevity in their career.”
